Alexandra Rizou

Certified Yoga Instructor

Alexandra started practicing yoga in 2013, not knowing that this would change her life.

She grew up doing all kinds of sports, mostly tennis in her youth and then rock climbing and contemporary dancing.

Yoga came naturally because of her need for movement,

but this is where she discovered her true self.

She completed 200 hours of training in traditional Hatha yoga in 2015 and continue

to learn to this day, attending as many workshops as possible,

during her travels in Nepal, New York, and Los Angeles every year.

In 2020 she became a 500 RYT certified instructor under the teachings of the

world-renown Savvas Giantsis from House of Yoga.

Determined to help and empower people through yoga, Aleksandra has taught in many yoga retreats all over Greece, and she has worked as an instructor in gyms and big yoga studios.

She personally has organized two sold-out 3day retreats with more than 35 students and sold-out yoga classes and workshops.

In 2021 she moved with her husband, George Kalodimas, to New York to see if it is true that the sky is the limit!

Pushes herself daily in her Ashtanga Vinyasa practice.

She teaches everyday Vinyasa Flow in her private studio, where she promotes the whole idea of wellness through her teachings blended with her healthy snacks and colorful smoothies!

In 2020 she started free yoga sessions through her Instagram account an average of 200 students each time!

With more than 300 full yoga sessions gave hope and love for the art of yoga to hundreds of people that were stuck in their apartments because of the lockdowns…

This gave her the ability to be experienced and comfortable teaching remotely via online classes.

Also, because of this everyday effort, in the Greek Influencer Marketing Awards in 2021, she won the Gold in best online-fitness response.

For years she has been the official Yoga Teacher of Adidas Runners in Greece and the Yoga Teacher of the Spetses Marathon!.. she has worked with major big brands like LG, Nestle, Samsung, Schwarzkopf hair, Melissa pasta, and Loumidis coffee!

She is known for her strength, handstands, and unique teaching approach that is both inspiring and empowering. Her goal is to help yogis from all levels to find their inside and outside power and uncover the range of their abilities.

Loves nature and hiking, photography, and traveling in remote destinations!

Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self
